TOPS A Rock Shop has been bringing quality, service and variety to our customers for over 30 years. Our store is located in the historic town of San Juan Bautista, California, one block from the Old Mission San Juan Bautista and the San Juan Bautista State Historic Park.

TOPS is an abbreviation for Turquoise, Opals, Pearls and Stones. In July of 2007, Gene and Pearl retired and sold the store to Jan McClintock. In May, 2015, Jan passed the Rock Shop on to long time manager and now current owner Kammie Osborn. The Rock Shop is committed to continuing to bring customers everything that our customers have grown to love about TOPS. We specialize in rocks, minerals, crystals, gemstones, beads, and gemstone jewelry.

Everyone involved with the Rock shop has a deep appreciation for the mastery of the artists who can bring out the best that nature offers and will always have specimens, décor and jewelry that awe and delight the eye.

Our gemstones are the best. We search for deals to bring you gemstones for reasonable prices. We also carry snap-tite
settings so you can quickly create your own jewelry. For something different, we work with Master Jeweler Theresa Brown, who can make a custom piece of jewelry just for you and repair anything you have in any precious metal.

We've expanded our bead section offering a wide variety of gemstone beads supplemented with glass, crystal, cloisonne porcelain and numerous types if jewelry findings to create whatever your heart desires. We are always happy to special order anything you need.
