Bob Stringer

To view the work of Bob Stringer is to experience the evolution of traditional southwestern jewelry steeped in Indian mysticism, into modern conceptual art depicting new age spirituality and metaphysical symbolism. Although Bob took his original inspiration from the Zuni Reservation in Gallup, New Mexico, where he was a turquoise buyer, he has developed a style of jewelry making that is completely unique and individual.

No two works are alike in Stringer’s collection and each is signed, dated and numbered making each piece a collectible work of art.
Bob does not limit his jewelry to turquoise but includes over one hundred precious and semi precious gemstones set in his handcrafted sterling creations. Combining the old style and techniques of creating Navajo Indian jewelry with quartz crystal instead of turquoise, is typical of Bob Stringer. After all, sterling silver is the perfect metal for enhancing the delicate pastel beauty of the magical stone. His colorful futuristic jewelry is handcrafted with the same quality and craftsmanship as that of the American Indian jewelry, with a new dimension.
